- • The Insurance Product Compliance Lead researches, analyzes, assesses risk, and consults on rules, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance applicable to insurance products such as Medicare Advantage, Part D, Group Specialty, and Individual Specialty, as well as licensure and corporate structure matters.
- • The role involves partnering with internal stakeholders, serving as Humana’s liaison with state and federal regulators, and drafting, filing, and negotiating approvals for service area expansions, product-specific documents, contracts, licenses, member communications, and marketing materials while safeguarding the company’s brand.
- • The position supports the implementation and maintenance of compliant insurance products in collaboration with business owners, advises executives on functional strategies, and exercises independent judgment on complex issues under minimal supervision.
- • The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring compliance across diverse insurance products, influencing decision-making through data-driven insights, and contributing to improved consumer experiences in a mission-driven healthcare organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid
- • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Visio
- • Ability to summarize complex information and tailor communication based on audience (e.g., contracts, federal and state regulations)
- • Ability to work independently while maintaining focus and managing deliverables to meet critical internal and external deadlines
- • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- • Ability to affect change in a highly matrixed organization, leveraging data and facts to influence decision-makers
