- • The Insurance Risk Management Lead serves as the definitive subject matter expert for all insurance-related strategies at Intersect, acting as the primary bridge between Intersect’s technical and operational teams and Google’s in-house insurance department to ensure seamless alignment and risk management across a growing portfolio of energy and infrastructure assets.
- • Day to day, the role involves developing and maintaining a comprehensive insurance framework, evaluating risk tolerance, standardizing processes, serving as the primary point of contact with Google’s insurance team, translating technical project details into insurance requirements, gathering and synthesizing technical data for insurance placement, reviewing contracts, maintaining the internal insurance data room, tracking policy terms, coordinating Certificates of Insurance, supporting audits and claims, managing the insurance budget, and forecasting premiums.
