Jerry Technologies, Inc. is seeking an exceptional Insurance Sales Team Lead to join our rapidly growing, pre-IPO startup.   • • As an Insurance Sales Team Lead, you will report directly to the Director of Contact Center Operations and serve as a vital player-coach. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and develop a team of Insurance Sales Agents, ensuring their success and fostering a culture of excellence. At Jerry, we go beyond simply selling insurance; we are dedicated to simplifying the most complex and expensive aspects of car ownership for our rapidly expanding base of over 5 million customers. You will be the crucial link between the day-to-day execution of your team and the broader operational strategy, empowering your agents to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams, providing invaluable front-line insights to shape the future of the Jerry super app.
  • • Your impact will be multifaceted and profound. You will cultivate a performance-driven environment through rigorous call audits, meticulous tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), and dedicated monthly coaching sessions designed for individual talent development and career acceleration. You will expertly manage the daily operations of your sales squad, overseeing crucial functions such as scheduling, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new, high-caliber hires. Your role extends to driving operational excellence by delivering direct, actionable feedback to Product Managers and Engineering teams. This feedback will be instrumental in refining our internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), enhancing our cutting-edge GenAI tools, and ultimately improving the overall Jerry app experience for our users.
  • • To maintain your edge and deeply understand the customer journey, you will actively engage in direct customer interactions. By hopping on the front lines, you will lead by example, simplifying complex insurance jargon, meticulously preparing quotes, and successfully binding policies. This hands-on approach ensures you remain sharp, empathetic, and fully attuned to the nuances of the customer experience. In terms of growth strategy, you will collaborate proactively across the insurance operations department to identify critical gaps in coverage offerings and proactively develop innovative strategies to increase new business policy sales and bolster customer retention rates. You will be a champion for first-principles thinking, encouraging your team to question assumptions and build more effective, customer-centric processes. Your adaptability will be key as you navigate the exciting, often ambiguous, landscape of a fast-growing startup, seamlessly transitioning between high-level strategic discussions and essential hands-on execution.
