- • Serve as an Insurance Sales Representative within Elite Insurance Group (EIG), Kin Insurance’s brokerage division, selling customized homeowners insurance policies and complementary products including auto, umbrella, and flood insurance.
- • Engage with inbound, high-intent leads provided by Kin’s Marketing team—no cold calling required—using phone, email, and text to build relationships and guide customers through policy selection.
- • Consult with homeowners to assess their coverage needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions from multiple A-rated carriers, ensuring clarity on policy features, benefits, and exclusions.
- • Utilize internal quoting tools and CRM systems to generate accurate quotes, maintain detailed records of customer interactions, and track sales pipeline progression.
- • Consistently follow up with prospects to move them through the sales funnel, applying persuasive and consultative sales techniques to close deals and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- • Collaborate with underwriting and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and timely policy issuance.
- • Stay current on insurance industry trends, product offerings, competitor pricing, and regulatory changes to effectively position Kin’s brokerage solutions.
- • Adhere to high ethical and compliance standards in all customer interactions, maintaining Kin’s reputation for fairness and transparency in insurance sales.
- • Complete mandatory paid training for 2+ weeks (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST), after which schedules will be assigned within operating hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
- • Work 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break; no weekend shifts are required.
- • Contribute to Kin’s mission of making insurance simpler, more affordable, and more accessible for homeowners in high-risk areas through data-driven, human-centered service.
- • Participate in the Sales Incentive Program to earn uncapped monthly commissions, with ramped compensation during the first three months of employment.
- • After one year in good standing, become eligible for promotion to Senior Sales Representative with an increased base salary and additional incentive opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage environment
- • Active Property & Casualty license
- • Experience selling multiple insurance products (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry, etc.) across multiple states
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- • Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools
- • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills with ability to build rapport quickly

- • On-target earnings (OTE) starting at $70,000 with uncapped commission potential and $45,000 base salary
