- • As an Insurance Strategy Consultant at Humana Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of the nation’s largest health benefits organizations by supporting high-impact strategy initiatives within the Insurance business unit, which drives the majority of the company’s revenue and earnings. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions that enhance growth, profitability, and member health outcomes across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Medicare Supplement, and other insurance products.
- • You will deconstruct complex business challenges, conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis, develop data-driven hypotheses, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, including the executive Management Team and Board of Directors, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution across the enterprise.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering high-quality analysis and deliverables that clearly frame objectives and articulate compelling findings; managing workstreams within high-profile strategy projects; developing insights for executive audiences; conducting stakeholder interviews and working sessions; performing industry, market, competitor, and financial analysis; collaborating with cross-functional teams; leading processes to prepare leadership for executive engagements; stewarding the team’s operating model; coordinating key meetings; defining opportunities for strategic alignment; designing and monitoring key metrics and reporting cadence; and supporting strategic planning and quarterly refinement across operational units.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 2+ years of full-time experience at a leading management consulting firm OR 3+ years of professional experience in a role requiring core consulting skills
- • Demonstrated ability to manage analysis and work streams within complex, high-impact projects
- • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- • Highly collaborative, flexible, team-oriented working style
- • Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in complex qualitative and quantitative analysis
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed organizational environment
