- • **Proactive Problem Resolution:** You will be empowered to initiate calls and engage with various internal teams (Hospital Physicians Billing Service, Admitting, Outpatient Surgery, Outpatient Department, Patient Financial Services, Utilization Review) and external insurance providers to resolve discrepancies, clarify coverage, and address any barriers to care. This proactive approach is vital for maintaining efficient patient flow and minimizing delays.
- • **Systematic Issue Escalation and Improvement:** When system errors, recurring divisional problems, or issues identified within work queues or reports arise, you will expertly escalate these to the appropriate staff. More importantly, you will actively collaborate with your team and management to identify opportunities for improvement in our systems and work processes, contributing to ongoing operational excellence.
- • **Facilitate Seamless Cross-Departmental Collaboration:** This role requires strong interpersonal skills as you will act as a key liaison between numerous hospital departments.
