đ Description
- ⢠DomainTools is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on seamlessly integrating our cutting-edge data and systems into a diverse range of security products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of software projects, from developing custom integration applications within specific frameworks to contributing to open-source projects through plugins and pull requests. You will be instrumental in understanding the intricacies of third-party security products, mastering their application development frameworks, and extending their capabilities by leveraging DomainToolsâ rich DNS and domain profile data.
- ⢠As an Integration Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to build, extend, and support DomainToolsâ integrations with critical security platforms. This includes Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms, and other open-source security projects. Your work will directly impact how our customers utilize our data to defend their networks and enhance their security posture.
- ⢠You will play a key role in maintaining the development, testing, and demonstration environments for our integration systems, ensuring their stability and efficiency. A significant part of your role will involve becoming a subject matter expert on the DomainTools integration APIs, enabling you to provide deep technical insights and support.
- ⢠Collaboration is central to this position. You will work closely with our sales and support engineering teams to diagnose and resolve customer-issued technical challenges, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. Furthermore, you will contribute to the creation of customer-facing technical documentation, translating complex technical information into clear and accessible guides.
- ⢠A crucial aspect of the role involves analyzing new security products that are candidates for integration. You will provide valuable insights to our product team, helping them define meaningful use cases and develop compelling feature sets that align with market needs and customer demands.
- ⢠Beyond external integrations, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of DomainToolsâ core products. This involves adding features that facilitate closer integration with the third-party security tools our customers already employ, thereby increasing the value and utility of our offerings.
- ⢠This position offers an exceptionally diverse and exciting work environment. You will likely encounter entirely new contexts and technologies every few weeks, providing continuous learning and professional growth. Thriving in this role means embracing the challenge of learning new APIs, mastering new frameworks, and becoming proficient with a wide array of security products.
- ⢠The primary programming languages for this role are Python and JavaScript. However, we encourage candidates with experience in other languages to apply, as your diverse skill set will be valuable in tackling various integration challenges as needed. This role is fully remote, requiring no travel, and is based in the Philippines.
- ⢠You will be expected to operate independently within a small, agile development team, adept at prioritizing collective team and customer outcomes over individual recognition. Your ability to self-motivate and work autonomously will be key to your success in this role.
