📋 Description
- • Build and maintain integrations between Light’s Smart Financial Platform and major CRM platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and HRM systems such as BambooHR, Personio, Deel, and Workday.
- • Own the design and evolution of integration patterns and shared libraries used across CRM and HRM connectors to ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability.
- • Work directly with customers during onboarding to configure, test, and troubleshoot live CRM and HRM integrations, ensuring seamless data flow into Light’s platform.
- • Document API specifications, authentication flows, data mapping rules, and integration best practices to enable team-wide knowledge sharing and reduce onboarding friction.
- • Triage, investigate, and resolve production issues related to CRM and HRM integrations, minimizing downtime and maintaining high system reliability.
- • Collaborate with Customer Delivery teams to support implementation timelines and with Solutions Architecture to define reusable connector design patterns.
- • Partner with Product to prioritize the development of new integrations based on customer demand, usage data, and strategic business goals.
- • Ensure integrations handle real-world API complexities including OAuth authentication, webhook event handling, rate limiting, data pagination, and error recovery.
- • Apply pragmatic engineering practices to deliver robust, production-grade integrations that prioritize functionality and reliability over theoretical elegance.
- • Leverage AI or emerging technology tools to enhance productivity, uncover integration insights, and improve decision-making in connector development and troubleshooting.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of the data structures and workflows of CRM and HRM systems to accurately map financial and people-related data into Light’s platform.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues before they impact customers.
- • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all CRM and HRM integration-related inquiries within the engineering and customer success teams.
- • Stay current with changes in third-party APIs and adapt Light’s connectors to maintain compatibility and performance as external systems evolve.
- • Ensure all integrations comply with data privacy and security standards while handling sensitive employee and sales data.
- • Contribute to the broader engineering culture by mentoring peers, reviewing code, and participating in architectural discussions around integration scalability.
