- • Support diverse data collection activities across multiple source types and collection methods within the cybercriminal underground.
- • Build and maintain automated data collection pipelines using APIs and web scraping techniques on open and closed sources.
- • Configure and manage collection tooling to ensure reliable, efficient, and consistent data acquisition.
- • Conduct open source research and exploratory data analysis on cybersecurity topics that directly impact CrowdStrike customers and their users.
- • Work on assigned projects with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines as part of a structured 12-week internship program.
- • Collaborate within a remote team environment, communicating effectively and frequently to support mission-critical intelligence operations.
- • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery and enhance the value of data collection and analysis tasks.
- • Engage in hands-on learning through collaborative projects focused on cyber threat intelligence and adversary operations.
- • Extract actionable insights from unstructured, ambiguous, and complex datasets in real-time threat environments.
- • Operate remotely from any location within the United States with no required travel; optional remote work from an alternative location for up to two weeks.
- • Participate in company-wide initiatives including wellness programs, employee networks, and volunteer opportunities.
- • Receive mentorship from seasoned professionals across CrowdStrike to support professional growth and skill development.
- • Contribute to impactful projects that directly enhance CrowdStrike’s AI-native security platform and protect global customers.
- • Work part-time, 10–20 hours per week, during standard business hours from August to November 2026.
- • Access professional development resources including workshops, tech talks, and the Executive Speaker Series.
- • Work in alignment with CrowdStrike’s mission centered on security, trust, safety, and privacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university program with 1–2 years of study remaining after the internship, pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, International Relations, Math, Physics, or a related field.
- • Graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- • Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, or analytical languages such as SQL or R.
- • Functional or professional fluency in one or more of the following languages: Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese strongly preferred), Korean (strongly preferred), Spanish (strongly preferred), Arabic, or Farsi.
- • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and a demonstrated drive to leverage them to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- • Passion for extracting insights from unstructured and ambiguous datasets.
