  • • As an Interface Specialist II at R1 RCM Inc., you will be at the forefront of transforming healthcare operations through advanced technology and automation. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing automated processes and workflows, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate and Zapier. This position is critical for building, deploying, and maintaining seamless integrations between our enterprise systems, directly contributing to enhanced efficiency and improved financial performance for hospitals, health systems, and medical groups.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of interface projects, from initial concept and design through to implementation, ongoing support, and optimization. You will be expected to execute complex interface projects with a high degree of autonomy, requiring minimal guidance while ensuring successful completion and adherence to project timelines. This involves meticulously organizing, optimizing, and managing the resolution of implementation issues, driving them to a definitive conclusion.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the ability to manage multiple projects and programs concurrently. You will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills and the capacity to flex your efforts across various initiatives, ensuring that each project receives the necessary attention to detail and achieves its objectives. This dynamic environment demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • • You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and supporting robust automations and integrations within our complex enterprise systems. This includes understanding the intricate data flows and system interactions to create efficient and reliable connections. Your work will directly impact the operational efficiency of our clients by streamlining processes and reducing manual intervention.
  • • Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities for process automation. By understanding their challenges and objectives, you will propose and implement solutions that drive significant process efficiency gains. This requires strong communication and analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements and automated workflows.
  • • To support these automation and integration requirements, you will develop and maintain scripts and applications using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript. Proficiency in these languages will enable you to build custom solutions, enhance existing integrations, and automate repetitive tasks, thereby increasing the overall effectiveness of our technological infrastructure.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including procedures, best practices, and technical specifications related to process automation and interfaces. This ensures knowledge transfer, facilitates onboarding of new team members, and promotes consistency and quality across all automation initiatives.
  • • The role also involves participating in an on-call rotation, typically for one week at a time, several times per year. This ensures that critical systems and integrations are supported outside of standard business hours. Additionally, you may be required to work after hours as needed to support client go-lives, ensuring a smooth transition and successful deployment of new systems and integrations.
  • • You will be empowered to execute basic interface projects under the guidance of a Team Lead or more experienced analyst, fostering a learning and development environment. Your ability to organize and manage implementations to completion and on schedule will be crucial. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, demonstrating an openness to feedback and a strong commitment to shared team goals, contributing to R1 RCM's mission of revolutionizing healthcare revenue cycle management through technology and innovation.
