• As an Intermediate Developer at ZayZoon, you will play a crucial role in tackling complex development and engineering challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creative problem-solving, delving deep to understand the root causes of issues, and leveraging data to support your findings. You will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and architecting our core web and mobile applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and reliable. A significant part of your role will include integrating with and maintaining various third-party tools and services, requiring adaptability and a keen eye for detail. You will actively participate in our agile development process, contributing to sprint planning, story grooming, and daily stand-ups, fostering a collaborative and efficient workflow. Collaboration extends beyond the development team; you will work closely with other departments, including Product, Customer Care, and Finance, to address product issues and implement new features seamlessly. Adherence to our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and secure coding practices is paramount, ensuring the integrity and security of our systems. You will also engage in peer-to-peer collaboration within your development pod, participating in pull request reviews, mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge, and pairing on complex technical stories. 🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience with production applications
• Experience solving issues around scale, concurrency, queuing, background processing, and efficient ingestion of third party data
• Mastery of fundamentals: SOLID coding principles, domain-driven design, performant code and queries, unit and integration testing
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills and an eagerness to dig into data as part of problem solving
• Full stack mentality: owning features from backend to frontend, including testing, demos, and delivery
