📋 Description
- • This internship offers a unique opportunity to support both the Clinical Dental and Dental Product teams at G.E.H.A, a nonprofit serving over two million federal employees and retirees with medical and dental benefits. The role bridges clinical expertise and product strategy, allowing the intern to contribute to initiatives that directly impact member health outcomes and experience.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting research, data collection, and analysis related to dental policies, benefits, and clinical guidelines; assisting in documenting processes, workflows, and clinical or product-related materials; helping prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for internal stakeholders; supporting the review and validation of dental product documentation to ensure alignment with clinical standards; collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand how clinical insights influence dental product decisions; and participating in team meetings, working sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.

- • Through this internship, the individual will gain hands-on experience in how clinical standards inform dental product design and benefit strategy, develop analytical and documentation skills in a healthcare setting, and understand the intersection of clinical operations and product management within a large-scale health benefits organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
- • 3.0 overall GPA
- • Major in Health Administration, Public Health, Dental Hygiene, Healthcare Management, Business, or a related field
- • Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- • Interest in dental healthcare, clinical operations, and product or benefits design
- • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities
- • Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team environment
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
