• • The Intern, Global Threat Emulation role at Sony Group Corporation offers a hands-on opportunity to engage in cybersecurity and ethical hacking initiatives within a global entertainment leader. This 12-week summer internship supports the identification and mitigation of security threats while contributing to organizational resilience.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting the GTE team in identifying, analyzing, and emulating cybersecurity threats; supporting Red Team assessments and penetration testing activities such as reconnaissance, vulnerability assessment, exploitation, and reporting; researching emerging cyber threats and attack techniques; documenting findings; helping create detailed reports with actionable recommendations; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security objectives with organizational goals.
• • The intern will join Sony Corporation of America’s Global Threat Emulation (GTE) team, part of the U.S. headquarters of Sony Group Corporation, which oversees major divisions including Sony Electronics, PlayStation, Sony Music, and Sony Pictures. The team operates within a large-scale enterprise environment protecting over 900 million Sony devices worldwide.
