- • Lead a team of digital technology auditors and technical subject matter experts in conducting data-driven, risk-informed audit and advisory engagements across GE Aerospace’s digital technology environment.
- • Plan and execute concurrent IT, cybersecurity, and integrated risk assessments, defining engagement objectives, audit procedures, budgets, staffing models, timelines, and deliverables with internal teams and co-source consultants.
- • Partner with stakeholders to perform risk assessments tailored to digital technology, cybersecurity, privacy, controls, and integrated business processes within the aerospace manufacturing context.
- • Drive timely closure of corrective actions by collaborating with management to implement sustainable, systemic action plans that address root causes and reduce risk exposure.
- • Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodology, including the operationalization of AI-enabled auditing tools, data analytics techniques, and risk insights.
- • Lead strategic Internal Audit initiatives such as AI/analytics, integrated risk management, methodology enhancement, and talent development programs.
- • Stay current on emerging business, technology, cybersecurity, and compliance risks, and integrate these insights into audit planning, scoping, execution, and advisory activities.
- • Educate and influence senior management on complex technology and cyber risks, control frameworks, and practical risk mitigation strategies, reinforcing Internal Audit’s role as a strategic partner.
- • Manage, develop, and coach direct reports to strengthen leadership capability, technical depth, audit competency, and readiness for future opportunities.
- • Coach team members and project resources in building expertise in audit practices, digital technology, cybersecurity, and business processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, respect, and integrity.
- • Utilize Flight Deck and other modern assessment tools to solve critical problems, strengthen continuous improvement, and enhance accountability across GE Aerospace’s technology environment.
- • Ensure audit activities align with Aerospace Internal Audit’s mission to deliver timely, practical insights that strengthen governance, risk management, compliance, and safety priorities.
- • Oversee audit portfolios involving global, complex environments with manufacturing operations, leveraging experience in large-scale corporate or Big 4 assurance settings.
- • Apply professional skepticism and human judgment to interpret outputs from automation and AI-enabled tools, validating accuracy, identifying anomalies, and translating results into actionable audit insights.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, IT Risk, IT Audit, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, or related fields, with 5+ years managing a team
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, another STEM major, or Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Technology
- • Strong preference for CISM, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC certifications
- • Demonstrated experience leading audit and advisory engagements across IT, cybersecurity, and integrated risk domains in a global company or Big 4 environment
- • Deep knowledge of IT operational and risk domains including Identity and Access Management, Asset Management, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Operational Technology
- • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as SOX and CMMC, and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks
