📋 Description

• • The Internal Audit Intern role at Ryder System, Inc. supports the Audit Services department in delivering internal audit and advisory services that add value, drive process improvement, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include learning auditing fundamentals through training and hands-on work on SOX, compliance, process, vendor, and IT general control audits; performing audit procedures such as identifying issues, developing criteria, analyzing evidence, and documenting processes; preparing working papers, conducting interviews, reviewing documents, and drafting summary memos; using independent judgment to develop findings and recommendations; and assisting in communicating results via written reports and oral presentations to management.
• • Ryder Audit Services is a high-performing team that partners with business leaders across Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Information Technology to enhance business processes and ensure regulatory compliance through objective, risk-based audits.
• • The intern will gain foundational auditing skills, develop analytical and communication abilities, understand business operations across multiple functions, and build professional experience in a structured, remote part-time environment (20 hours/week) that accommodates academic schedules.
