• • Key Responsibilities:
• • Spearhead the collection and meticulous organization of all invoices and requisite supporting documentation essential for accurate VAT reporting across all Cyprus entities.
• • Employ cutting-edge AI tools to process financial documents, ensuring the efficient extraction and structured organization of critical financial data.
• • Meticulously prepare and rigorously review VAT reports, performing comprehensive validation of financial information for completeness and accuracy.
• • Foster effective communication and coordination with external tax consultants based in Cyprus, delivering comprehensive reporting packages and all necessary supporting documentation.
• • Conduct thorough reviews and provide formal approval for VAT returns meticulously prepared by external advisors, guaranteeing full compliance and accuracy prior to submission.
• • Lead and manage the entire VAT refund process within Cyprus, coordinating the assembly of all required documentation and overseeing communication channels with advisors and relevant stakeholders.
• • Develop and prepare insightful VAT-related analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform internal decision-making and strategic financial planning.
• • Actively participate in the foundational development and continuous enhancement of the international accounting function within the SKELAR organization.
• • Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within VAT reporting workflows, driving the implementation of solutions that demonstrably increase efficiency and elevate data quality.
• • Contribute to the establishment of best practices and standardized procedures for international accounting operations.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of accounting data with other business systems.
• • Stay abreast of evolving VAT regulations and tax laws in relevant jurisdictions, ensuring continuous compliance.
• • Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.
