- • Lead end-to-end deployment of Harmattan AI’s standardized factory blueprint at international sites, from site assessment through production-ready handover
- • Translate the Wissous reference factory design—including layout, equipment, tooling, workflows, and quality controls—into a fully operational local production facility while maintaining output standards despite site-specific constraints
- • Manage installation, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing equipment in coordination with Harmattan AI engineering teams and local partners
- • Establish and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and quality control protocols aligned with the company’s reference factory standard
- • Integrate ERP, MES, and traceability systems at deployment sites to ensure end-to-end production visibility and data integrity
- • Operate within military offset agreement obligations, ensuring compliance with local content requirements, technology transfer scope, and contractual deliverables
- • Coordinate with local industrial partners and government stakeholders to meet offset milestones and fulfill industrial participation commitments
- • Build and transfer local engineering capability through knowledge sharing, training, and documentation as required by offset agreements
- • Document and report offset credit activities and production readiness gates using formats mandated by the contracting authority
- • Define and execute a structured production readiness program including equipment qualification, process validation, operator training, and first-article runs
- • Establish local maintenance routines, spare parts inventory systems, and operating procedures to sustain production after handover
- • Conduct formal readiness reviews and obtain sign-off against Harmattan AI’s factory standard before transitioning operations to local teams
- • Capture lessons learned from each deployment and feed structured improvements back into the global factory blueprint for future iterations
- • Serve as the primary liaison between the international deployment site and Harmattan AI HQ, providing structured progress reporting and escalating critical issues
- • Support commercial and program teams during pre-contract site assessments and deployment feasibility studies by providing technical input on local infrastructure, logistics, and operational constraints
- • Work on international assignments lasting three to twelve months, operating autonomously with limited local infrastructure and under demanding defense program timelines
- • Maintain rigorous adherence to the company’s core values: real-world impact, excellence, ambitious goal-setting, and execution under high-stakes technical conditions
🎯 Requirements
- • Degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related technical field
- • Minimum seven years of industrial engineering experience in aerospace, defence, advanced electronics, or similarly regulated manufacturing
- • Demonstrated factory standup experience—greenfield or brownfield—including equipment commissioning, process deployment, and production readiness
- • Familiarity with military offset agreements, industrial participation obligations, or technology transfer programmes in a defence context
- • Proven ability to operate autonomously on international assignments with limited local infrastructure
- • Fluent English
