- • This part-time Investment Banking Associate role in AI Residency at Aptura Inc. is designed for finance professionals who want to directly shape how frontier AI models understand and perform complex banking tasks, bridging the gap between human judgment and machine reasoning in corporate finance.
- • Day to day, you will develop realistic, deal-relevant prompts to test AI outputs, systematically compare human vs. machine judgment in financial analysis, design frameworks that translate banker expertise into AI challenges, and construct expert benchmarks like DCFs, LBOs, and comps to evaluate AI system performance.
- • Aptura partners with leading AI labs to inject real-world finance, healthcare, and legal expertise into AI development; founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals, the company operates globally with hubs in London and San Francisco and is expanding its India cohort in Bangalore.
- • In this role, you will gain rare early exposure to how frontier AI models are trained and refined, build deep expertise in AI-finance intersection, and position yourself for future buy-side, strategy, or corporate finance roles where AI literacy is increasingly valued—all while working on intellectually stimulating work that stands out from typical side engagements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory)
- • Associate level; sector agnostic background
- • Strong modelling and valuation skills including DCF, LBO, comps, and precedent transactions
- • Sharp written communication and attention to detail
- • Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI in finance
