- • As Investors Relations Lead at Web Summit LLC, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s global investor network by cultivating and maintaining high-value relationships with decision-makers across the tech investment landscape, directly contributing to the growth and prestige of one of the world’s most influential tech conferences.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with angel investors, venture capital representatives, and institutional investors from firms such as Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital; coordinating investor participation across Web Summit’s global events on four continents; developing tailored engagement strategies to maximize investor value before, during, and after events; collaborating with internal teams to align investor outreach with event programming and sustainability goals; and tracking and reporting on investor engagement metrics to inform strategy.
- • You will join a dedicated investor team that has been instrumental in expanding Web Summit’s investor base, operating within a mission-driven organization committed to fostering meaningful global connections, promoting innovation, and creating positive environmental and social impact through its events.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in global investor relations within the tech events industry, sharpen your strategic relationship-management skills, gain exposure to high-level decision-makers in venture capital and technology, and contribute to Web Summit’s expansion into new markets while advancing its sustainability and community impact objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in investor relations, partnership management, or similar stakeholder engagement roles
- • Strong network or ability to build relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, or institutional investors
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging high-level decision-makers
- • Experience managing events or programs across multiple regions or continents
- • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- • Familiarity with the tech industry and investment landscape
