Invoice and Corporate Advance Specialist

📋 Description

• • As a Sr. Default Associate in the Default Administration team at Valon, you will manage invoice and corporate advance processes critical to preventing foreclosures and minimizing investor losses in the mortgage servicing ecosystem.
• • Day to day, you will process and verify vendor invoices for delinquency and default, ensure compliance with investor and agency guidelines (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, VA, etc.), reconcile corporate advance data from prior servicers, monitor offshore vendors, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to automate workflows.
• • You will work within Valon’s Default Servicing team, which is essential to the company’s mission of transforming mortgage servicing through a technology-first approach, backed by Andreessen Horowitz and managing over $130 billion in loans.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in mortgage default processes, gain experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering, and develop skills in financial reconciliation, audit response, and system automation within a fast-scaling, innovation-driven fintech environment.
