📋 Description

• Build and maintain a production-grade iOS application where AI interactions are central to the user experience, focusing on reliability, performance, and user trust.
• Develop iOS client features using Swift and SwiftUI, ensuring seamless integration of AI-powered capabilities via backend APIs.
• Design and implement UX patterns for AI interactions, including streaming responses, loading states, retry mechanisms, and fallback behaviors to handle non-deterministic model outputs.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency to ensure responsive, low-latency operation on real-world devices.
• Capture and instrument user signals and feedback to inform AI model evaluation, iteration, and product improvement.
• Collaborate closely with backend and machine learning engineers to align on API design, data flow, and system behavior for AI-driven workflows.
• Maintain high App Store quality standards, ensuring stability, crash-free operation, and compliance with Apple’s guidelines.
• Implement and manage feature flags and remote configuration systems to enable controlled rollouts and A/B testing of AI features.
• Integrate on-device machine learning models using TensorFlow Lite for lightweight inference where applicable.
• Ensure robust handling of partial failures, network latency, and intermittent connectivity in AI-driven task completion workflows.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for production issues, implement fixes, and improve monitoring to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that prioritize long-running workflow reliability and persistent context across app sessions.
• Work within a small, high-talent-density team that values independent execution, collective decision-making, and rapid iteration while maintaining high-quality output.
• Participate in an interview process consisting of 3–4 virtual or onsite interviews evaluated by technical team members.
• Ship a polished, reliable iOS application that enables users to interact with AI for everyday tasks such as conversations, errands, organization, and workflow automation.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of iOS development experience using Swift
• Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features into mobile applications
• Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background tasks in iOS
• Solid experience with iOS performance and memory optimization
• Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS apps
• Comfort designing for latency, partial failure, and non-deterministic AI behavior
