📋 Description
- • Serve as Engineering Application Captain on the Proprietary Common Application Suite (PCAS) team, ensuring alignment between customer needs and technical solutions.
- • Capture and document customer engagement requirements to guide application development and enhancements.
- • Develop detailed requirements from formal Change Requests, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- • Validate that software functionality fully meets defined customer requirements through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- • Coordinate software block-point releases, managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across engineering and IT teams.
- • Lead and facilitate key project meetings including Kickoff Meetings, Requirements and Architecture Meetings (RAM), and Pre-Lab Meetings.
- • Collaborate with Functional and IT Application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate implementation of proprietary and standard solutions.
- • Maintain and update the Application Information Database with current system configurations, requirements, and change logs.
- • Coordinate application testing activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and result documentation for PCAS systems.
- • Perform functional coordination to map proprietary customer requirements to standardized engineering application solutions.
- • Administer and support Teamcenter installations within the PCAS Lab environment, ensuring system stability and user accessibility.
- • Ensure compliance with Boeing’s internal processes, security protocols, and export control regulations for all assigned tasks.
- • Operate in a fully virtual environment with no requirement for relocation or on-site presence.
- • Adhere to Boeing’s Drug Free Workplace policy and participate in required substance testing when applicable.
- • Complete all necessary Conflict of Interest (COI) assessments prior to employment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required; clearance must have been active within the past 24 months)
- • Minimum 1+ years of IT experience for Level 2, or 3+ years for Level 3
- • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter product data management system
- • Proven experience gathering and documenting customer requirements for technical projects
- • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent
