đź“‹ Description
- • Own the day-to-day effectiveness of Lendable’s IT function, acting as the technical right-hand to the Head of IT and ensuring every engineer delivers best-in-class support in a hyper-growth fintech.
- • Architect and scale IT operations across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android endpoints, guaranteeing 99.9 % uptime for 600+ Lendies in London, Kent and remote locations while we expand into the US market.
- • Serve as the final escalation point for complex incidents and service requests, turning frustrated users into raving fans and protecting our 4.9 Trustpilot score by resolving issues in minutes—not days.
- • Design and continuously improve ITSM workflows in Zendesk/Jira/Freshdesk, automating repetitive tasks with Bash, PowerShell or Python so the team can focus on high-impact projects instead of password resets.
- • Build, coach and inspire a high-performing, inclusive team of IT Engineers through weekly 1:1s, quarterly OKRs, hands-on pair-troubleshooting and a culture of psychological safety where everyone can experiment.
- • Own end-to-end onboarding & offboarding automation: from zero-touch Mac enrollment via Jamf/Kandji to instant access provisioning in G-Suite, AWS and bespoke lending platforms, cutting new-hire setup time from hours to minutes.
- • Partner with Security and Engineering to harden endpoints, roll out zero-trust networking and ensure SOX/PCI compliance without slowing the business down, turning security into a competitive advantage.
- • Select, negotiate and manage vendor relationships for MDM, SaaS, hardware and AV solutions, squeezing every penny of value while future-proofing our stack for 10× user growth.
- • Create and curate a living knowledge base, run monthly “Lendable Tech Talks” and produce bite-size Loom videos so colleagues can self-serve and level-up their own tech skills.
- • Champion a data-driven culture by defining SLAs, publishing weekly KPI dashboards and running blameless post-mortems that transform outages into learning opportunities.
- • Travel to our Kent office and future sites as needed, rolling out new conference-room tech, pop-up Wi-Fi and ergonomic setups that make hybrid work effortless.
- • Shape the 3-year IT roadmap—evaluating cloud DaaS, VDI and AI-powered support bots—then pitch your vision to the exec team, securing budget and headcount to execute.
- • Live and breathe automation: from AutoPkg recipes that silently patch macOS apps to Terraform modules that spin up test environments in AWS, you turn toil into code.
- • Foster cross-functional relationships with Finance, People and Legal so IT is seen as a strategic enabler, not a cost centre, influencing decisions that touch every corner of the business.
- • Celebrate wins loudly—whether it’s a 50 % ticket-deflection rate or a flawless office move—because at Lendable we believe success is a team sport.
