  • Project Delivery & Execution:
  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of global IT and digital projects, ensuring that all outcomes are achieved within the defined scope, to the highest quality standards, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine integrated project plans, robust value cases, and comprehensive delivery roadmaps that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Proactively monitor project progress using industry best practices, meticulously managing risks, identifying and resolving dependencies, and addressing issues before they impact project success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including RAID logs, financial reports, and status updates, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for project sponsors, senior leadership, and diverse cross-functional teams involved in project delivery.
  • Facilitate seamless alignment and clear communication across both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project objectives, expectations, and success criteria.
  • Lead and facilitate key project meetings, steering committees, and regular communication cadences to ensure ongoing engagement and informed decision-making.
  • Foster and drive a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture across all global workstreams, promoting teamwork and shared success.
  • Financial & Resource Management:
  • Diligently manage project budgets, including tracking actual expenditures, developing accurate forecasts, and providing clear variance reporting to stakeholders.
  • Actively support resource planning and capability development initiatives, ensuring that project teams have the necessary skills and capacity to meet ConvaTec’s strategic goals.
  • Provide clear, data-driven rationale for investment decisions, articulating the expected business value and return on investment for each project.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Champion the adoption and consistent application of best-practice project delivery methodologies and ways of working across all teams and regions.
  • Conduct thorough mid-year and post-implementation reviews to rigorously assess project performance, identify lessons learned, and embed continuous improvement into future project lifecycles.
  • Contribute actively to the ongoing evolution and refinement of ConvaTec's project delivery frameworks, tools, and governance structures, driving operational excellence.
