- • As an IT Support Engineer at Monarch Money Inc., you will be at the forefront of ensuring our rapidly growing, fully remote team operates smoothly and securely. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters, from hardware and software issues to access requests, ensuring a high standard of support and rapid response times.
- • This role is pivotal in supporting Monarch's hyper-growth phase, following a successful Series B funding round and continued subscriber expansion. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining a world-class IT infrastructure that underpins our fast-paced fintech operations.
- • A significant aspect of your responsibility will involve enhancing our IT operations through the development and implementation of scalable automations and AI workflows. You will leverage tools such as Okta Workflows, n8n, OpenAI, Claude, and similar platforms to streamline essential processes like user provisioning, managing access requests, and automating routine operational tasks, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- • You will administer and continuously improve our core Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools and access management systems. This includes managing user provisioning and de-provisioning, as well as identity governance across Monarch's diverse software stack, including Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and others. Your work with Okta and ConductorOne, in close partnership with the People and Business Operations teams, will be crucial for seamless onboarding and off-boarding experiences.
- • Strengthening our security posture is a key objective. You will actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of IT security best practices. This includes managing endpoint protection, enforcing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and ensuring compliance with data privacy standards, contributing to a secure and trustworthy environment for our members and employees.
- • You will manage the complete lifecycle of employee devices, from procurement and configuration to deployment and off-boarding. Utilizing our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, Kandji, and working with logistics partners, you will ensure all devices are secure, compliant, and managed efficiently throughout their use.
- • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving inefficiencies is highly valued. You will continuously seek opportunities to scale and improve our IT processes, recommend and deploy new tooling, and develop comprehensive documentation and self-service resources to empower the team as we continue to grow.
- • This role requires a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, remote setting. You will be instrumental in creating a robust and scalable IT foundation that supports Monarch's mission to simplify money for our members.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including People Operations, Security, and Business Operations, to ensure that IT processes are integrated, auditable, and scalable, supporting the company's rapid expansion.
- • By automating and refining IT workflows, you will directly contribute to the agility and efficiency of the entire organization, enabling faster decision-making and execution.
