📋 Description

• As an IT Support Specialist at Mapbox, you will ensure the technology used by employees is effective, secure, and frictionless, directly supporting the company’s mission to power location-aware experiences for developers and organizations worldwide.
• You will manage inbound support requests, provide in-person and virtual assistance, support employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain office infrastructure (LAN, WiFi, AV systems), and contribute to automation and process improvements that reduce risk and enhance usability.
• You will join a global IT team operating across North America, Europe, and Asia, collaborating via a follow-the-sun model to maintain high service availability and support a high-growth workforce with a focus on security, innovation, and customer-centric service.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IT tools (Okta, Jamf, Intune, AWS, G Suite), develop automation skills with bash/Python, strengthen your problem-solving and documentation abilities, and grow as a trusted IT advocate within a diverse, values-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with macOS and Windows 10/11, Okta SAML, Google G Suite, Jamf, Intune, Slack, Zoom, and ticketing systems like Jira.
• Experience in a fast-paced IT support environment prioritizing customer service, security, and innovation.
• Experience configuring and maintaining small office networking products (LAN, WiFi, AV, conferencing systems).
• Experience automating tasks using scripting languages such as bash; knowledge of Node.js or Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks to support project delivery and team velocity.
• Comfortable working in spoken and written English; knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
