- • Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for all employees at the Santa Clara office, providing frontline technical support during business hours via a rotating schedule that ensures continuous coverage.
- • Resolve Level 1 hardware, software, and connectivity issues for Windows and Mac devices, including troubleshooting login failures, access permissions, peripheral device malfunctions, and browser-based application errors.
- • Provide direct support for enterprise SaaS platforms including Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Citrix ShareFile, Okta, Zendesk, Workday, JIRA, and Confluence.
- • Manage end-to-end IT equipment procurement, provisioning, and asset tracking — coordinating with vendors, configuring devices, installing software, and ensuring licenses are properly assigned and documented.
- • Administer Microsoft Azure Active Directory for user and device management, including account creation, group assignments, access revocation, and device enrollment via Microsoft Intune.
- • Configure and maintain endpoint security and compliance policies using Microsoft Intune and related endpoint management tools.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues involving DHCP, DNS, VPN, NAT, IP address configuration, network patching, and switch installation.
- • Manage file and folder permissions using NTFS and share permissions, as well as Microsoft 365 and security groups to ensure appropriate access controls.
- • Respond to and resolve IT tickets with speed and professionalism, prioritizing requests based on urgency and impact to business operations.
- • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records for all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
- • Ensure new hire equipment is procured, configured, and delivered ready for use before their first day of work.
- • Document all support interactions and escalations clearly to reduce resolution time for higher-tier teams and improve knowledge sharing.
- • Collaborate across time zones to provide seamless support during the designated shift: 8:30 PM IST to 5:30 AM IST, with night shift allowances applied.
- • Act as a trusted, responsive partner to onsite workers by demonstrating patience, clarity, and professionalism when explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
- • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate, demonstrating ownership and urgency in all tasks.
- • Maintain high levels of onsite worker satisfaction through consistent, reliable, and timely IT service delivery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or IT/IS
- • 3+ years of hands-on IT support or systems administration experience in a professional office environment
- • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting, enterprise SaaS platforms (Office 365, Okta, Teams, etc.), and Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- • Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management, hardware procurement, asset tracking, and software license management
- • Understanding of fundamental network technologies (DHCP, DNS, VPN, NAT) and hands-on experience with IP configuration, network patching, and switch installation
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, with ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
