- • Deploy, configure, and support Autodesk and Bentley CAD systems including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and OpenRoads across the organization.
- • Manage updates, patches, and configurations for all CAD software platforms to ensure compliance with organizational CAD standards.
- • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for CAD performance issues, licensing errors, and interoperability challenges between software platforms.
- • Serve as the primary technical liaison between the company and Autodesk and Bentley support teams for issue resolution and software guidance.
- • Administer and maintain CAD licensing systems and manage access to cloud-based data platforms including ProjectWise, Autodesk Docs, and BIM 360.
- • Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams to optimize workstation configurations and virtual environments for CAD performance and stability.
- • Identify and implement process improvements to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system reliability in CAD workflows.
- • Ensure all CAD environments are aligned with engineering project requirements and industry best practices for civil infrastructure design.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues affecting CAD system access, file sharing, and data synchronization.
- • Document system configurations, support procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing and continuity.
- • Maintain up-to-date inventory of CAD software licenses, hardware specifications, and supported configurations.
- • Participate in planning and execution of software upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption to engineering teams.
- • Train end users on new CAD features, system updates, and best practices for data management and file organization.
- • Monitor system performance metrics and proactively address bottlenecks or recurring issues affecting CAD productivity.
- • Work directly with civil engineering teams to understand their technical needs and tailor support solutions to project demands.
- • Ensure all CAD systems meet security and compliance requirements for data handling and access control.
