- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Quora’s global corporate IT environment, provisioning and de-provisioning accounts, hardware, and SaaS licenses for 400+ employees across every time zone while maintaining 99.9 % uptime and zero-day security compliance.
- • Serve as the first and last line of defense for employee productivity: triage, prioritize, and resolve every incoming IT ticket—whether it’s a locked Okta session in Tokyo or a Zoom audio glitch in Mexico City—delivering white-glove support that turns frustrated users into raving fans.
- • Architect and continuously refine automated workflows in JAMF, Okta, and Google Workspace that shrink onboarding time from hours to minutes, eliminate manual errors, and free the team to focus on strategic initiatives instead of repetitive clicks.
- • Partner with Security, Engineering, and People Ops to translate policy into practice—translating SOC-2 controls, ISO-27001 requirements, and internal security playbooks into frictionless user experiences that protect Quora’s intellectual property without slowing anyone down.
- • Act as the primary liaison with external vendors, negotiating SLAs, tracking hardware refresh cycles, and ensuring that every MacBook, iPad, and conference-room display arrives pre-configured, encrypted, and ready for immediate use.
- • Document tribal knowledge into living runbooks, video walkthroughs, and self-service portals so that any team member can onboard a new hire or resolve common issues without waking you up at 3 a.m.
- • Monitor system health through centralized logging and analytics platforms, proactively hunting anomalies, patching vulnerabilities, and rolling out silent updates that keep macOS, Windows 11, iOS, and Android fleets secure and performant.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation by piloting emerging tools—whether it’s a zero-touch deployment script or a new AI-driven support bot—and measuring impact with data, iterating until the solution is both elegant and scalable.
- • Influence Quora’s long-term IT roadmap by surfacing user pain points, cost-saving opportunities, and technology trends during weekly cross-functional syncs, ensuring that every decision aligns with our mission to grow and share the world’s knowledge.
- • Provide after-hours escalation support on a rotating basis, ensuring that critical incidents affecting Poe’s AI model availability or Quora’s global traffic are resolved within minutes, not hours.
- • Mentor junior contractors and interns, turning complex troubleshooting sessions into teachable moments that level-up the entire team’s skill set and reinforce our values of transparency and shared ownership.
- • Celebrate diversity and inclusivity by designing onboarding flows that accommodate different languages, accessibility needs, and working styles, making every new hire feel welcome from day one.
