- • As an Italian Interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions, you will provide real-time video and audio interpretation services between Italian and English speakers, breaking communication barriers in critical sectors such as healthcare, government, law enforcement, and emergency services.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include responding promptly to interpreting sessions, delivering accurate and culturally sensitive interpretations, maintaining professionalism during high-stress calls (including 911 and medical emergencies), and using company-provided technology to document and support sessions while working remotely from a quiet, secure home office.

🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in Italian and English with strong cultural competency and ability to navigate regional accents and dialects.
- • Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy during interpretation, especially in emotionally charged or technical conversations.
- • Ability to remain neutral, objective, and calm during sensitive or high-stress calls, including those involving end-of-life discussions, emergencies, or crisis situations.
- • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship requirements; must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- • Access to a dedicated personal device (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS laptop/desktop, tablet, or smartphone) and a high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, <300 ms ping, <30 ms jitter) in a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
