- • As Japan Growth Lead at Replit, you will establish and scale the company's commercial presence in Japan by owning enterprise and government partnerships, activating channel and reseller networks, driving educational adoption, and representing Replit at key industry events.
- • Day to day, you will prospect and close strategic partnerships with large Japanese enterprises and government agencies, recruit and enable resellers and system integrators, build relationships with universities and coding bootcamps, engage developer communities, and manage a robust deal pipeline while reporting on growth metrics.
- • You will join Replit’s global Partnerships team, reporting to the International Partnerships Lead, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Community teams to localize offerings and surface Japan-specific use cases.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Japan’s enterprise and public-sector sales cycles, build a trusted network of stakeholders across technology, finance, manufacturing, and government, and drive measurable impact by establishing Replit as a leading platform for software creation in education and industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or growth, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment
- • Native or business-level Japanese fluency and deep cultural familiarity with Japan's business environment
- • Proven track record sourcing, structuring, and closing enterprise or government partnerships in Japan
- • Experience working with or selling to Japanese public sector institutions, large enterprises, or through channel/reseller networks
- • Strong communicator who can adapt messaging for technical developers, non-technical operators, C-suite executives, and government stakeholders
- • Self-starter with a bias for action; comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build market presence from the ground up
- • Data-driven mindset — you measure what matters and use insights to iterate quickly
