- • This short-term remote project at Chemin Inc. offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development of AI language systems by transcribing authentic Japanese audio recordings, helping improve how technology understands real-world speech patterns, accents, and vocal variations.
- • Your work will play a vital role in training AI models to better recognize and interpret natural Japanese speech across diverse speakers, ages, and regional dialects, making language technology more inclusive and effective for Japanese-speaking users globally.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include listening to Japanese audio clips and transcribing them with high accuracy, segmenting audio into natural speech units for linguistic analysis, identifying and labeling multiple speakers when present, adding basic annotations such as gender, age group, and emotional tone, strictly following project guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality output, and maintaining active communication with the Project Manager for feedback and clarification.
- • You will also be required to complete a mandatory pre-assessment to verify language proficiency, manage your own schedule to meet daily targets of 4–6 hours of work, and maintain at least 95% transcription accuracy throughout the project duration.

- • Access to a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection
