📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full-scale rollout, focusing on automating car ownership services through LLMs and AI agents.
• Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in high-volume AI interactions (50k+ chats/month).
• Serve as the primary technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices, platform standards, and scalable system architectures.
• Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous A/B testing, data analysis, and iterative experimentation.
• Collaborate directly with OpenAI to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities into the ChatGPT app.
• Own the strategic direction of Jerry.ai’s AI-powered platform that already automates over 70% of inbound sales and service requests across a $2T industry.
• Translate complex technical concepts about API design, model behavior, and system architecture into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and scale production-grade AI systems that handle real-world customer interactions with high reliability, low latency, and continuous learning from human-in-the-loop feedback.
• Define and measure key performance metrics tied to automation efficiency, customer retention, and operational cost reduction across the AI platform.
• Champion a culture of innovation by staying ahead of LLM release cycles, experimenting with new model capabilities, and implementing custom AI workflows beyond off-the-shelf solutions.
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and operations to align AI capabilities with customer needs and business goals in the car ownership ecosystem.
• Maintain deep familiarity with SQL and data infrastructure to independently validate hypotheses, analyze user behavior, and optimize AI performance based on empirical evidence.
• Lead initiatives that reduce manual intervention in customer service and sales workflows by embedding intelligent automation into core product experiences.
• Establish and enforce AI platform standards that ensure consistency, safety, and scalability as the system grows to serve millions of users.
• Act as a systems thinker who can navigate technical tradeoffs between model performance, infrastructure cost, and user experience in a fast-moving AI environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
• Proven interest in and hands-on experience with modern LLM systems
• Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards
• A track record of turning complex, strategic AI ideas into scalable, production-grade products
• Familiarity with SQL and comfort using data to validate hypotheses and answer questions independently
• Intrinsically motivated technologist who actively builds custom AI workflows and follows LLM release notes
