- • As a Japanese Interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions, you will provide real-time video and audio interpretation services between Japanese and English speakers, breaking communication barriers in critical sectors such as healthcare, government, law enforcement, and emergency services.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include responding promptly to interpreting sessions, delivering accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation, maintaining professionalism during high-stress calls (including 911 and end-of-life discussions), and using company-provided technology from a dedicated, quiet home workspace.

🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in Japanese and English with strong cultural competency and ability to navigate regional accents and dialects.
- • Excellent listening, memory, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy during interpretation, especially during sensitive or complex conversations.
- • Ability to remain calm, neutral, and professional during emotionally charged or high-stress calls, including emergency situations.
- • Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- • Access to a dedicated personal device (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS laptop/desktop, iPadOS/Android tablet, or iOS/Android smartphone) and a high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload).
- • Must maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace and use a headset for extended periods.
