📋 Description

• The Jr. Invest Operations Associate role is a critical link in Acorns’ financial operations engine, ensuring the protection of customer assets and seamless execution of financial journeys through precise back-office processes. This role directly supports Acorns’ mission to democratize wealth-building by enabling micro-investing for everyday individuals and families, making financial wellness accessible to all.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing high-volume operational queues by resolving customer emails and internal case tickets related to account updates, asset transfers, and reviews; handling escalated inbound and outbound customer calls with empathy and professionalism during sensitive situations; processing ACH disputes and managing mail/fax inquiries for asset verifications and legal levies; facilitating asset movement through 3210 letter processing and collaboration with Advisors on outgoing transfers and incoming rollovers; assisting customers with funding source updates and complex account inquiries to enhance experience; supporting the Risk team in investigating account unlock requests by verifying documentation and distinguishing fraud from false positives; balancing customer advocacy with fraud protection to ensure smooth experiences while maintaining security; and collaborating with Team Lead and cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in tools and infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 0–2+ years of experience in investment, banking, or financial operations
• Unrivaled attention to detail with consistent execution of tasks at a high degree of accuracy and excellence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, and handle escalated customer interactions professionally
• Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment, including flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
