  • • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for SaaS platforms used by public health agencies to support disease surveillance and public health reporting.
  • • Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to identify testable requirements and translate them into reliable, reusable automation frameworks.
  • • Execute automated test suites across multiple environments to validate functionality, performance, and data integrity of health data systems.
  • • Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring clear reproduction steps and priority classification.
  • • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an agile development team focused on client outcomes.
  • • Continuously improve test coverage by expanding automation to new features, edge cases, and regression scenarios.
  • • Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the deployment workflow and ensure rapid feedback on code changes.
  • • Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation logs, to support audit readiness and compliance.
  • • Ensure all automated testing aligns with public health data standards and regulatory requirements for sensitive health information.
  • • Proactively seek feedback from peers and engineers to refine testing approaches and enhance product quality.
  • • Demonstrate initiative by identifying gaps in current testing processes and proposing automation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • • Contribute to a culture of accountability by owning test quality outcomes and meeting team expectations for performance and delivery.
  • • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with automation tools, testing methodologies, and public health data systems.
  • • Support client success by ensuring software reliability, accuracy, and timeliness in systems that directly impact disease prevention and public health response.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience writing automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
  • • Proficiency in at least one programming language used for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • • Understanding of software testing life cycle and agile development practices
  • • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and user stories to create effective test cases
  • • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in high-stakes health data environments
  • • Willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and grow professionally in a feedback-driven culture
