  • • Develop and maintain automation tools and internal software systems to improve operational efficiency across public health data workflows.
  • • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify bottlenecks in data ingestion, validation, and reporting processes, then design automated solutions to resolve them.
  • • Write clean, testable, and documented code in Python and other scripting languages to support automation of repetitive tasks within the SaaS platform.
  • • Integrate with third-party APIs and public health data sources to enable seamless data flow between systems while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team standards for version control, testing, and deployment practices using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • • Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to automation scripts and tools, providing timely resolutions to maintain system reliability.
  • • Work closely with public health clients’ technical teams to understand their data needs and translate them into scalable automation requirements.
  • • Contribute to the documentation of internal tools, workflows, and automation processes to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding efficiency.
  • • Support the deployment and monitoring of automation tools in cloud-based environments, including AWS or similar platforms.
  • • Proactively seek feedback from teammates and stakeholders to refine tool functionality and improve user experience for internal and client-facing systems.
