📋 Description

• As a Junior HR Business Partner / People Manager (Mensch) at WPP Media, you will be the heart of our organizational culture, actively shaping employee development and serving as a vital link between leadership and staff to foster a positive, productive work environment in one of the world’s leading AI-driven media operating units.
• You will support employees across the full employee life cycle as their first point of contact for operational HR matters, advise management on labor law issues, coordinate with People Units including Recruiting, Analytics, Learning & Development, and Payroll, collaborate closely with the works council, identify personnel challenges and co-develop practical solutions with managers, and actively contribute to process design and AI-supported People Management initiatives.
• WPP Media is WPP’s AI-powered media operating unit, uniting media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale through the WPP Open platform, backed by Open Intelligence, enabling clients to measure media impact with precision while operating within a global network that champions innovation, diversity, and belonging.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in German labor law, HR business partnering, and cross-functional collaboration while gaining hands-on experience with AI-enhanced HR processes, preparing you for advancement within WPP’s global HR network through internal career programs, mentorship, and access to industry-leading learning resources.
• You will develop strong stakeholder management skills, become adept at navigating complex organizational structures, and cultivate a solutions-oriented mindset that balances empathy with business impact—equipping you to influence people strategy and drive cultural change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed (Fach-)Hochschulstudium (bachelor’s or equivalent degree)
• 1–2 years of experience as a People Manager, HR Business Partner, or in a comparable HR role (ideal but not mandatory for career starters)
• Strong social competence and excellent communication skills in German and English
• Hands-on mentality with a solution-oriented approach and openness to dialogue
• Affinity for data-driven work and AI-supported HR processes
• Solid understanding of German labor law
