  • • Spearhead the execution, calculation, and delivery of monthly and quarterly variable compensation payouts for multiple international sales teams within Trimble’s Transportation and Logistics division.
  • • Manage dynamic incentive changes, including the administration of strategic SPIFF plans approved by leadership, ensuring accurate and timely implementation.
  • • Oversee the compensation management platform, maintaining absolute accuracy of data tables, reporting metrics, and calculation logic to support reliable payout outcomes.
  • • Resolve complex compensation inquiries from global field teams with a customer-centric approach, providing clear, supportive guidance to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
  • • Partner directly with leadership and internal audit teams to deliver up-to-date performance metrics and ensure adherence to compensation policies and regulatory standards.
  • • Transform complex sales data into actionable compensation insights, enabling data-driven decisions that align incentives with business objectives.
  • • Maintain rigorous attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines across global time zones, ensuring zero errors in high-stakes financial payouts.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR teams to align compensation structures with evolving business strategies.
  • • Support continuous improvement of compensation processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements to increase accuracy and scalability.
  • • Ensure all compensation activities comply with internal controls and external audit requirements, contributing to a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • • Utilize advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills to manipulate, analyze, and validate large datasets under tight timelines.
  • • Act as the primary point of contact for compensation-related questions across global regions, fostering trust and clarity among sales representatives and managers.
  • • Contribute to the evolution of Trimble’s incentive strategy by providing feedback based on real-world data and field team input.
  • • Stay current with industry best practices in sales compensation and apply insights to optimize plan design and administration.
  • • Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee compensation data.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience managing or supporting variable compensation and incentive-based plans, preferably within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • • Advanced proficiency in handling large data sets using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • • Strong detail orientation with a track record of meeting strict deadlines while managing requests laterally and upwards.
  • • Excellent, inclusive communication skills suitable for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
