- • As a Junior Security Engineer at Signet Jewelers Limited, you will play a critical role in protecting the company’s digital assets by monitoring, investigating, and responding to security threats in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Your work directly supports the security posture of the world’s largest diamond jewelry retailer, safeguarding customer data, corporate systems, and brand integrity across multiple iconic brands.
- • Day to day, you will monitor and analyze security alerts in Splunk to detect suspicious activity, support incident handling through triage, investigation, escalation, and documentation, assist with containment and remediation using established procedures, collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve security issues, and stay current on emerging threats and security best practices. You will also participate in on-call rotations and contribute to security improvement projects.

You’ll gain experience working in a real-world SOC environment, build communication and collaboration skills across teams, and position yourself for growth into mid-level security engineering or specialized roles in threat detection, forensics, or cloud security.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, IT support, or a related technical field
- • Hands-on experience with Splunk for searching, investigating, and analyzing security events
- • Experience supporting or participating in incident handling, including alert triage, escalation, and documentation
- • Foundational knowledge of network and cloud security concepts, including firewalls, IAM, and AWS security controls
- • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and grow
- • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
