📋 Description
- • As a Junior Software Engineer on the Benefits Technology team at WEX, you will contribute to building next-generation employer benefits solutions that simplify business operations and reduce complexity for clients and partners.
- • You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer challenges, design and implement scalable solutions using .NET and modern architectures, and support live applications through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
- • WEX is a leader in financial technology services, empowering businesses with innovative payment and benefits management solutions; the Benefits Technology team focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and secure platforms for employer benefits administration.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native development, microservices, API design, and AI-integrated systems while mentoring peers and growing into a subject matter expert through hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices and emerging technologies.
🎯 Requirements
- • Good experience in software engineering with hands-on experience in development, architecture, deployment, and production operations
- • Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET RESTful API design, and experience building and consuming REST APIs
- • Experience with modern web UI frameworks (React), Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) including core services like IAM, storage, and compute
- • Strong understanding of software security principles, OWASP guidelines, and proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- • Experience with Agile methodologies, writing comprehensive unit tests, and working with relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
