- • As a Junior Support Engineer (L1) at n8n GmbH, you will play a vital role in ensuring that both community users and enterprise customers receive best-in-class support, directly contributing to user satisfaction and product adoption in a fast-growing AI workflow automation platform.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling 70% of support inquiries from users via ticketing systems, participating in 5% cross-team collaborations such as pairings and escalation management, dedicating 10% of your time to self-improvement through learning and experimentation with the product, and contributing 15% to internal projects and initiatives aimed at improving support processes and user experience.
- • You will join a diverse, remote-first team of over 220 employees spanning Europe and the US, with a strong engineering and builder culture rooted in Berlin, where n8n has grown from an open-source project to a $2.5B-valued company backed by Sequoia and supported by a global community of 650K+ developers.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in technical support, customer communication, and SaaS operations while gaining hands-on experience with n8n’s AI-powered workflow automation platform, enabling you to grow into a more advanced support or technical role within the company.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 1-2 years of support engineering experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP), and web development tools including web servers and debugging utilities
- • Experience handling administrative and billing-related queries such as invoice analysis, account changes, and product inquiries
- • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to empathize with users and prioritize their satisfaction and success
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tickets and meet service-level agreements (SLAs) through effective time management and prioritization
