  • • Solenis is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Key Account Director to serve as the pivotal link between our organization and its key distribution partners across the United States. This remote role is instrumental in fostering robust, long-term relationships, driving mutual business growth, and ensuring operational excellence within our distribution network. The ideal candidate will embody a collaborative, win/win philosophy, dedicated to achieving shared success through aligned objectives, transparent communication, and the creation of joint value.
  • • A core responsibility of this position involves orchestrating seamless collaboration between our distribution partners and internal sales teams. This synergy is crucial for executing high-impact growth strategies, negotiating critical strategic priorities, and substantiating investments through rigorous financial analysis and data-driven, ROI-focused decision-making.
  • • You will be the primary point of contact for assigned strategic distributors, cultivating deep, trust-based relationships that are foundational to long-term, mutually beneficial outcomes. This involves conducting regular, in-depth business reviews and strategic planning sessions meticulously designed to foster shared success and identify new avenues for growth.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to co-develop comprehensive joint business plans with distributors, specifically aimed at accelerating revenue generation and expanding market share. You will ensure these distributor initiatives are perfectly aligned with our internal sales strategies, guaranteeing a cohesive and unified market approach.
  • • You will actively facilitate and enhance collaboration between distributor sales teams and our internal sales force, optimizing territory coverage, improving lead conversion rates, and deepening customer engagement across the board.
  • • Continuous monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics will be essential to ensure that all targets are not only met but consistently exceeded. Celebrating joint wins and promoting a culture of shared accountability will be key to reinforcing our partnership-driven approach.
  • • You will be tasked with negotiating the company's position on critical elements such as pricing, promotional programs, and strategic initiatives with our distributors. This requires a keen understanding of market dynamics and a strong ability to balance company objectives with partner needs.
  • • A crucial part of your responsibility will be to evaluate and justify any distributor-related investments by developing and utilizing robust ROI models and conducting thorough financial analyses. You will be expected to present compelling business cases to internal stakeholders, advocating for distributor growth and operational improvements that yield tangible benefits for Solenis.
  • • You will collaborate closely with various internal departments, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing, to streamline distributor operations and enhance overall efficiency. Proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks in ways that benefit both Solenis and our distributors will be vital for improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • • Ensuring strict compliance with all contractual terms, pricing policies, and inventory standards will be paramount, while simultaneously maintaining the flexibility needed to support distributor success and adapt to market changes.
  • • You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing critical market data, competitive intelligence, and valuable distributor feedback to inform strategic decisions. This intelligence will be used to provide regular, insightful reports and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • • Staying abreast of evolving industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics that may impact our distribution channels will be a continuous requirement of the role.
  • • The ultimate success of this role will be measured by the seamless synchronization of distributors and internal sales teams in executing joint growth strategies, the establishment of strong, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, and the demonstrable success of win/win partnerships evidenced through shared KPIs, co-investment in growth initiatives, and high levels of mutual satisfaction. You will ensure distributors consistently meet or exceed sales and operational targets, and that operational issues are proactively identified and resolved for shared benefit.
