- • As a Key Account Manager at Neara Inc., you will be at the forefront of driving significant growth and expansion within our most valuable client relationships. Your primary mission will be to ensure that our largest accounts not only receive exceptional value from the Neara platform but also achieve their critical business objectives. This role demands a strategic, consultative approach, partnering closely with key customers and internal teams to foster deep engagement, maximize value realization, and pave the way for sustained customer success.
- • You will become an expert in Neara's cutting-edge platform, a sophisticated AI and machine learning-driven solution that creates engineering-grade, physics-enabled digital twins of electricity grids. Your understanding of our value proposition and go-to-market strategy will be crucial in identifying and executing expansion plans that align with our clients' evolving needs and priorities.
- • A core responsibility will be to develop and nurture a robust pipeline of opportunities within your assigned key accounts. This involves proactively identifying new workflow improvements and innovative use cases for the Neara platform, demonstrating its ongoing relevance and potential to solve complex challenges for major utilities.
- • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships at the executive level is paramount. This involves understanding their strategic priorities, anticipating their future needs, and accurately forecasting opportunities. Your ability to foster trust and demonstrate consistent value will be key to retaining and growing these critical partnerships.
- • You will be instrumental in developing and refining processes that enable the scaling of our Account Management function. By contributing to best practices and driving growth among our client base, you will play a direct role in Neara's overall expansion and success.
- • Ongoing account management will focus on ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and actively pursuing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. This requires a deep understanding of our clients' business operations and a proactive approach to identifying areas where Neara can provide additional solutions and value.
- • You will manage current accounts operating under multi-year contracts, diligently ensuring that customers are realizing the full value of their investment in the Neara platform. This includes monitoring key performance indicators and proactively addressing any potential issues.
- • Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with our Customer Success and Customer Value Architect teams, as well as the Product team, to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies. This cross-functional teamwork ensures a unified approach to client engagement and success.
- • A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to co-present with utility partners at key industry conferences and events. This will allow you to showcase successful implementations, share insights, and further establish Neara's thought leadership in the energy sector.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully expanding enterprise-level accounts, ideally within a tech-enabled environment or through strategic sales. Experience within the utilities sector is highly desirable, providing a strong foundation for understanding client challenges and opportunities.
- • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to build rapport and establish credibility with executive-level stakeholders. A driven, continuous improvement mindset will ensure you are always seeking ways to enhance customer value and personal effectiveness.
- • A solid understanding of B2B sales strategies and the ability to cultivate strong business relationships are fundamental to excelling in this position. You will be responsible for navigating complex sales cycles and ensuring long-term client commitment.
