- • Manage industrial water treatment applications across designated sites in East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, and Humberside, including routine testing of customer cooling and boiler water treatment systems.
- • Achieve individual commercial targets aligned with Solenis’ business strategy, with an initial 20/80 split between new business sales and key account management for existing customers.
- • Handle all aspects of sales and account management within territory, including correspondence, contract administration, order processing, new business implementation, troubleshooting, and customer follow-up.
- • Serve key industrial customers in the food and beverage, metal processing, and general manufacturing sectors, engaging with both technical/engineering contacts and commercial buyers.
- • Forecast monthly financial performance for assigned territory, ensuring accurate revenue and activity projections.
- • Utilize Solenis’ internal processes and systems to meet customer needs and maintain compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
- • Provide technical consultancy and sales support for water treatment chemistries, including boiler and cooling water treatment products.
- • Leverage knowledge of additional water treatment applications such as biocides, polymers, and defoamers to expand customer solutions and drive product adoption.
- • Maintain strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication at all organizational levels, addressing demanding customer expectations with a solutions-oriented approach.
- • Demonstrate attention to detail and a results-driven mindset to consistently meet strategic business KPIs and compliance obligations.
- • Collaborate with regional management and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of water treatment solutions and service excellence.
- • Represent Solenis as a technical sales expert in a competitive, customer-focused environment, contributing to the growth of a market-leading specialty chemicals business.
🎯 Requirements
- • Graduate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree
- • 5 years’ progressive experience in sales or account management within the water treatment industry
- • Sound technical knowledge of boiler and cooling water treatment products and applications
- • Experience selling biocides, polymers, or defoamers is advantageous
- • Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders
- • Results-focused with strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
