  • • As a Kubernetes Platform Architect within the VKS Application Engineering team at Broadcom Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enabling enterprise success with VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) as a core component of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
  • • Your primary mission will be to accelerate the adoption of VKS, positioning it as the premier enterprise-grade Kubernetes platform for modern applications deployed within private cloud environments.
  • • This is a highly hands-on and customer-facing position, requiring you to be on the front lines, directly engaging with enterprise clients to drive the successful adoption and implementation of VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
  • • You will be instrumental in designing and validating robust VKS solutions, leading impactful proof-of-concepts (POCs), and providing expert guidance to customers throughout their application modernization journey.
  • • A key responsibility is to act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers, meticulously guiding them through the entire lifecycle of VKS solution design, validation, and deployment on VCF.
  • • You will foster close collaboration with field account teams, ensuring that proposed solution architectures are tightly aligned with customer priorities and ultimately drive successful engagement outcomes.
  • • This role demands leadership in technical discovery sessions, interactive workshops, and hands-on proof-of-concepts, all aimed at validating VKS architectures and clearly demonstrating tangible business value to clients.
  • • You will partner strategically with the sales organization to jointly develop compelling customer proposals that effectively address critical modernization goals, optimize workload placement strategies, and facilitate significant operational transformations.
  • • Providing prescriptive guidance on best practices for Kubernetes adoption, seamless integration with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and addressing core enterprise requirements such as high scalability, robust security postures, and comprehensive disaster recovery strategies will be central to your role.
  • • You will be tasked with building and disseminating valuable technical assets, including comprehensive reference architectures, proven deployment patterns, and other essential documentation, to significantly accelerate customer adoption of VKS.
  • • Delivering clear, compelling, and persuasive technical presentations to a diverse range of audiences, from deep technical architects to executive decision-makers, is a critical aspect of this position.
  • • Maintaining a current understanding of industry trends, competitor offerings, and the evolving landscape of enterprise requirements is essential for effectively positioning VKS and its unique value proposition.
  • • You will actively collaborate with product management and engineering teams, channeling valuable field feedback to directly influence and shape the future roadmap of VKS.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying customer challenges, designing innovative solutions, and articulating the business value of these solutions in clear, quantifiable terms.
  • • You will be expected to be an enthusiastic self-starter, demonstrating strong curiosity, an unwavering drive for success, and the ability to thrive and adapt within dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • • While the role is remote, there may be an expectation to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites or industry events, requiring flexibility and a willingness to engage in person when necessary.
  • • The position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of enterprise Kubernetes adoption, working with cutting-edge technology and influential clients to shape the future of cloud-native applications in the enterprise.
