- • Lead AI Engineer role focused on building the harness that powers supplier agents within Coupa’s AI platform, enabling smarter, automated business decisions through agentic systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining the evaluation pipeline, context management layer, sub-agent orchestration, document parsing for supplier inputs, CLI tools around Coupa APIs, and the skill framework — owning and rotating across components based on priority.
- • Coupa is a global leader in spend management, leveraging trillions of dollars of spend data from over 10M buyers and suppliers to drive AI-powered insights that improve operating margins for businesses worldwide.

🎯 Requirements
- • Strong background in AI-native engineering with hands-on experience building agentic systems
- • Proficiency in designing and implementing evaluation pipelines, context management, and orchestration layers for AI agents
- • Experience with document parsing, CLI tool development, and API integration (particularly around enterprise platforms)
- • Ability to ship code frequently, iterate based on user feedback, and thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment
