  • • Lead the end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a fast-growing international fintech organization with millions of customers worldwide.
  • • Own the company’s annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast cycles across all global business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • • Translate complex financial and credit data into clear, actionable insights for the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership team to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • • Build and scale modern FP&A infrastructure, including financial models, reporting frameworks, and analytics tools that support dynamic growth and operational agility.
  • • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that align financial outcomes with operational execution across credit, product, and international teams.
  • • Conduct driver-based variance analysis to explain performance against plan, focusing on volume, price, mix, and margin dynamics within a credit-driven business model.
  • • Partner closely with Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Credit, Product, and International teams to ensure financial accuracy, consistency, and cross-functional alignment.
  • • Support capital allocation decisions by evaluating investments, headcount planning, pricing strategies, and strategic initiatives using rigorous financial modeling.
  • • Develop financial models, diligence workstreams, and reporting frameworks to support M&A activities and IPO readiness initiatives.
  • • Leverage advanced Excel/Sheets proficiency and experience with modern FP&A tools, including preference for AI-enabled analytics platforms and next-gen planning systems like Aleph.
  • • Apply deep expertise in cohorted and vintage-based credit modeling and portfolio analytics to inform forecasting accuracy and risk-adjusted return assessments.
  • • Communicate multi-layered financial and credit performance data to executive stakeholders with clarity, intuition, and strategic context around unit economics and portfolio health.
  • • Foster a culture of financial discipline and transparency by embedding performance management practices across the organization.
  • • Contribute to the evolution of Tilt’s credit system by ensuring financial planning reflects the company’s mission to recognize potential beyond traditional credit scores.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance roles, ideally within lending, fintech, or credit-driven businesses
  • • Proven leadership experience building and scaling core FP&A functions in fast-growth, data-intensive environments
  • • Strong financial modeling expertise with deep experience in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis, including preference for cohorted/vintage-based credit modeling and portfolio analytics
  • • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and experience with modern FP&A tools; preference for familiarity with Aleph or other next-gen planning platforms
  • • Ability to translate complex financial and credit data into clear, executive-level insights with strong intuition around unit economics, portfolio performance, and risk-adjusted returns
  • • Experience partnering closely with senior leadership across credit, risk, product, capital markets, and operations in high-growth environments, preferably fintech lending platforms
