- • The Lead Customer Program Manager is a people leader role within the Customer Program Management team at Fictiv/MISUMI Americas, responsible for building, managing, and growing a team of CPMs who own customer programs end-to-end—from scoping and kickoff through delivery, escalation management, and long-term account health.
- • Day to day, you will directly manage a team of Junior to Mid-Level Customer Program Managers, set performance goals, conduct 1:1s and reviews, develop structured growth plans, serve as the first line of escalation for complex programs, create onboarding frameworks, participate in recruiting, and foster a high-accountability, high-support team environment aligned with company values.
- • You will maintain visibility across your team’s portfolio of customer programs, monitor health and risks, set and uphold standards for program planning and execution, step in on strategic or at-risk accounts, partner with Sales and Account Management for onboarding and renewals, and champion a consistent customer experience.
- • You will coach your team in customer success mindset, ensure measurement of key metrics like on-time delivery and satisfaction, guide difficult customer conversations, build relationships with senior stakeholders, maintain working knowledge of supply chain operations, oversee customer operations health, partner with Supply Chain and Operations to resolve blockers, and drive adoption of new processes and tools.
- • The role sits at the intersection of customer success, project management, and manufacturing expertise, reporting to the Manager of Customer Program Management, with a hybrid work model (Monday–Wednesday in office, Thursday–Friday remote) and hours aligned to US Eastern time (7:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST).
- • You will learn to lead and scale a high-performing team in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, deepen your expertise in hardware program management and supply chain dynamics, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making while embodying Fictiv’s non-hierarchical, candid culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7–13 years of total work experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing customer-facing programs or projects in a fast-paced hardware product development or contract manufacturing environment
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- • Minimum 2 years in a team lead, senior lead, or people management role with direct reports, owning performance reviews, development plans, and day-to-day team management
- • Proven track record of running complex, multi-stakeholder customer programs end-to-end, with full accountability for scope, cost, timeline, and customer satisfaction
- • Direct experience working with US-based or European-based customers from India on a US business hours schedule
