• • As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data ecosystem. You will be instrumental in building out the platforms that ingest, transform, and serve the rich geospatial and tabular datasets essential for our digital twin use-cases. This is a greenfield opportunity, offering significant autonomy and end-to-end ownership of critical data infrastructure.
• • Your primary responsibilities will involve developing, maintaining, and owning robust data integration pipelines. These pipelines will be responsible for ingesting and transforming diverse datasets from upstream client systems into the Neara Platform. This requires a deep understanding of data flow, transformation logic, and the ability to handle complex, large-scale data operations.
• • You will collaborate extensively with our cross-disciplinary teams, including delivery, engineering, and product. This collaboration is key to understanding and fulfilling critical client needs, ensuring our data solutions are directly aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
• • A significant aspect of this role will be contributing to the definition of our common data standards. These standards will serve as the bedrock for GIS digitization and will underpin various critical use-cases, including risk assessment, value optimization, and operational efficiency.
• • You will also be instrumental in defining the architecture and design of our underlying data platforms, ensuring they are built for excellence, scalability, and future growth. This involves making strategic decisions about technologies, data modeling, and best practices.
• • Furthermore, you will provide crucial input to and implement our data governance framework. This ensures data quality, security, and compliance across the organization, building trust and reliability in our data assets.
• • You will work closely with our infrastructure team to seamlessly integrate new, greenfield data systems with our existing infrastructure. This requires a strong understanding of cloud environments and system integration principles.
• • Beyond client-facing data, you will build internal data systems designed to capture and measure key business processes. This includes tracking customer health, assessing digitization efficacy, and forecasting project efforts, providing valuable insights for business strategy and operational improvements.
